QUIGG, Emma Fay

Former Sheridan resident Emma (Fay) Quigg, 79, died in Punta Gorda, Fla, Wednesday afternoon. She had moved from Hamilton County several years ago. Born in 1894, she was the daughter of Thomas and Bertha (Mote) Conrad of Darlington, Ind.  Mrs. Quigg was a member of the Darlington Congregational Christian Church. She married Halfred Quigg in 1919 and he died in March of last year.  Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Wilma Patton and Mrs. Wilberta Olin, both of Crawfordsville and Mrs. Winona Lyons of Sheridan; a son, Francis of Crawfordsville; a brother and sister, Adrian Conrad and Mrs. Thelma Doyle, both of Muncie.  Also surviving are 17 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Services will be held in the Hinshaw Funeral Home at Sheridan on Saturday at 2 p.m. with Rev. Leon Nicholsen officiating. Burial will be in the Greenlawn Cemetery at Darlington. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Friday. -= kbz
